Macs help Roger Ebert to speak again.
There are many of us here who post Ebert's articles from time to time and many more who treasure the insight this wonderful man has to offer. While the focus of this particular speech of his (and his wife and friends) is on what the Mac has given him with regard to the 'spoken' word, this is really about much more than that.

Think about who you are.
Think about what you have to say.
Find a way to say it so everyone can hear.

4. You know, it's heartwarming just to see that he's out and about...
The voice part is interesting, too, of course, but I'm really glad he's still with us.

There but for the grace of God (or whatevur) go you or I.

9. I tend to forget these days that I didn't often agree with his film critiques,
because since he lost his voice, he found it again in blogging form, and is just an amazing guy, politically and otherwise. I hate to say it, but I don't think I would have known that about him had he not lost his voice.
