Louis Farrakhan likes the Tea Party (but still doesn't like Jews)
Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan used a recent speech at Howard University to berate Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman for what Farrakhan said was his poor treatment of President Barack Obama.

"Here's the president of the United States," Farrakhan said. "He makes a statement about people losing their homes and whatnot, gambling, and then his flight, his plane stops in Las Vegas. And the little Jewish mayor wouldn't even come out to greet him."

"How you gonna greet a (expletive) president?" Farrakhan continued. "Yes I used the word, because that's the way they think. You are nothing to them."

-snip-

Only the Tea Party movement received approval from Farrakhan.

"The Tea Party is not a part of the old problem," Farrakhan said. "The Tea Party is forcing these Republicans to be strict fiscal conservatives, plus they're not under the control of the Zionists."

3. I don't know,
considering that Farrakhan is embracing the Tea Party I can't imagine he'll have supporters on DU.

The MSM is gonna eat this sh*t up. One extreme vs. another extreme = ratings gold.

The Donald needs a week or two vacation.

13. Farrakhan also embraces Gaddafi and considers him a friend. That's enough to engender some support

5. Not to defend Louis
But the way Oscar Goodman acted was pretty sleazy, though that is because Oscar is a POS. He is not a good example of a Jew.

6. What, in your opinion, is a "good" Jew?

8. someone who
is a good person, and who thereby puts the jewish faith in the best light, same as a good muslim, good xtian, or good athiest.

Goodman snubbing Obama as a petty ego trip means he is not good, and therefore, not a good example for or of his race.

9. So, by your estimation, Farrakhan is not a good Black?
Being a raging anti-Semite is not a good way to represent your race.

10. Goodman didn't snub Obama out of an ego-trip.
He did it out of his perception that Obama had insulted his city with his earlier comments.
One can agree or disagree with Goodman's reasoning, but it wasn't ego tripping.
