BP Oil Spill Cleanup Workers: Gulf Coast Now More Toxic Than It Was One Year Ago
http://www.hotindienews.com/2011/04/20/1031805

.......snip

lack of proper monitoring by the Occupational Safety & Environmental Association (OSEA) and further corruption by BP to cover up the misuse of their toxic chemical dispersant Corexit they manufactured under its own subsidiary Nalco has caused major health issues and in many cases death within a year for thousands of workers involved with the cleanup. Plus to add even more insult to injury, BP is not paying for any of the worker’s medical expenses.

Where is the outrage? Where is the major media coverage?

Why don’t more people know about the “BP Plague”?

1. Our government apologized to BP.
I so hope that ends the story. All gone. All clean.

Exposing the TRUTH behind the BP Oil Spill Disaster. The BP Health Crisis, the "BP Plague."

http://current.com/news/93161595_exposing-the-truth-behind-the-bp-oil-spill-disaster-the-bp-health-crisis-the-bp-plague.htm

One month ago I discovered Jennifer Rexford, a BP Oil Spill Clean-up worker, documenting her work related illness on Youtube. I watched every single one of her videos, which had 14 views at the time. I posted one of Jennifer's videos on Current (http://current.com/news/93090046_thousands-of-gulf-oil-spill-clean-up-crew-are-d...) which ended up getting 100,788 views here, over 200 comments, 7,500 likes on Facebook. Thank you Current for spreading the word. But the issue is NOT OVER.

I am now in D.C. covering the Power Shift Clean Energy Conference which includes a massive rally at the White House today. Thousands of activists will be demanding that the White House end their ties with Big Polluters that our destroying our Democracy, our air, water and our livelihood.

Here is a video report and interview I conducted with Jennifer Rexford that explains the BP Oil Spill disaster and Health Crisis, the BP Plague. As we approach the one year anniversary on Wednesday, April 20th, 2011, I URGE everyone to spread the word about the BP Plague. Tweet this video with #bpPlague.

We, the people, must be the voice for the Gulf Coast residents. We, the people, must shut down the beaches until a real investigation takes place. BP can not be the one to run their own investigtion. Be the voice of the people. Spread this video.

More videos to come. More evidence to come. The BP Plague is real. The BP oil spill is not over. Thousands of people are sick and dying. BP must pay for the medical treatment. BP must be held accountable. I have more testimonials from D.C. this weekend. Coming soon. But I am off to cover the rally.

You can read my original story on Hot Indie News: http://www.hotindienews.com/2011/04/15/1031779

Sincerely,
A compassionate citizen of Planet Earth.

5. Seems no one wants to discuss this lil piece of hell and betrayal
If you trust our government or a multi-national then you might not have enough sense to put your own crotch out if it should happen to be on fire.

7. I'm no spring chicken, but I really thought that this hell
and betrayal would end after Dimson** was gone. Perhaps that's why no one wants to discuss it - it's been painful to watch the suffering of fellow citizens without intervention.

9. I lived in NOLA for many years, left because of Katrina
Loonix, I loved the Gulf seafood. But my health is already bad and I can't rish eating the seafoods from the Gulf (I LOVED Gulf oysters). Now I don't want to eat Pacific seafoods because of radiation and the gyre. Sometimes it seems we humans are a PLAGUE upon this planet.
