Mike Huckabee to Glenn Beck: Don't call me progressive

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is lashing out at radio host Glenn Beck.

The Republican, who is leading or at the top of several national presidential polls, shot back at the talk show host today and defended first lady Michelle Obama's anti-obesity campaign to boot.

Beck said on his radio program the other day that Huckabee has "bigger government tendencies" and mentioned the ex-governor's support for Obama's "Let's Move" initiative. Beck, who is transitioning off the air at Fox News Channel, called Huckabee a "progressive" several times.

Meaning he represents the sane fringe of the conservative movement. He's the only Republican candidate I'd trust in a crisis. I'd never trust his policies, but at least he seems to have a foot in reality. I loathe his sincerity.
