Poll Finds Even Split On Walker Recall Question
Walker makes several trips a week to cites outside of Madison touting his job creations.

But I was to one in Eau Claire WI this week (protester). The money for the factory was from the stimulus bill (Dem Gov Doyle)--had gotten it. So, Walker takes credit and the media ignores that point--and drives right past the protesters.

Poll Finds Even Split On Walker Recall Question
Poll Commissioned By Wisconsin Public Radio

Updated: 3:41 pm CDT April 21, 2011

MADISON, Wis. -- A new poll suggests Wisconsinites would be about evenly split on the question of recalling Gov. Scott Walker.

The idea of recalling the Republican governor arose during protests over his efforts to remove most collective bargaining rights from most public employees. The question is moot for now, since lawmakers must be in office for one year before they can be recalled. Walker was inaugurated in January.

Still, if there were a recall election, Thursday's poll suggests a tight outcome. It said 48 percent would vote to keep Walker in office, while 47 percent would vote to remove him.

1. Those numbers would surely change during a special election
I'm not too worried about how the numbers look at the moment because we are actively working the senate recalls.

Walker is pissing off everyone with his blatantly crony-based politics. He's got months to piss off even more before we can register a recall movement.

Once Walker and the Fitzgeralds get to work on the next budget they'll be presenting more 'abandon the people' and 'rob the commonwealth' agendas that will make even more anti-Walker allies.

2. And the jobs are poor paying. They do not
support a life that supports a fair lifestyle. Most folks are going downhill or in maintenance mode.

4. I think the poll is encouraging to progressives. As I recall Walker won
the Gov race by 6 pts plus (I think I remember this).
