1. I know the fifth picture.
I know that room.

Where is it, has it been in a movie before?

Is it from a movie, very beautiful pose by the dancers in that, very beautiful.

great photography, the candles in the foreground, low chandelier for effect, and the pose of the dancers is astounding.

Like the man is letting the lady enjoy the dance.

What movie is that from?

8. Uniforms throwing off where it is from
The uniforms miss the match of where I think it is.

Is the uniform accurate? Seems wrong for the room?

24. Well the uniform points out location and time frame.
But it seems wrong, doesn't fit the room, the guess from the uniform.

27. Its the Gnomon...........
I recognized it from the film. But I admit I had to pull out my copy of TDC to find the name of the church and the obelisk (hope that's not cheating). I've never been to Paris, but someday...

Speaking of Paris, #3 looks like the Seine, but so many Paris stories to choose from.

28. The photo doesn't really do it justice, dramatically. But I have seen it
and it's not very dramatic in real life. Of course, in Dan Brown's imagination, it's another thing entirely!

#3 is not Paris. I'm really surprised that folks haven't "caught on" to this one! You'll kick yourself when you find out where it is!

At first I knew that it had to be French -- the gold, the whole baroque style of it -- and went looking for Famous French Architecture. There it was.

Lincoln Center. I think it was featured in The Producers (but I don't remember which version!).

Number 2 is the Paris Opera House, site of The Phantom of the Opera -- book, play, musical and movie.

Number 3 is the Rialto Bridge in Venice. My niece suggests that The Tourist (2010) was filmed at/near there.

81. Yes, indeed!
I threw in Shakespeare as a last minute idea. Originally, I thought of Juliet's house in Verona but it was just too obvious (with a fake balcony no less, altho the house is "supposed" to be her family's -- it IS pretty, I have to admit, and I admit I fell in love with Vernona!).

Must get that movie! Sounds wonderful...

The setting is gorgeous, the costumes fantastic, the acting is near perfect, and Pacino is, once again, totally mesmerizing. Jeremy Irons fades into the woodwork next to him on screen.

I saw it 3 times and am ready to see it again.
