4. are you
Are you making fun of the architecture or the kids that have practiced and are proud of their performance? I don't really see any evil in the photo.

Do you know what apophenia is?

agape. It has eyes and teeth too. It's just a funny picture.

9. Lots of religious people are very open about being bigoted
toward my community because of their religion, and they fight hard to preserve discrimination against us. No wee emoticon for that hypocrisy.

12. Lots of PEOPLE are bigoted, period....You need not be "religious" for instance,
to be a racist or a mysogynist.

I'm sorry for the bigotry expressed toward your community, but you really do NOT

need religion to be a bigot...any old reason will do...A favorite is simply "you're different than me"

Many progressive religious people are not at all bigoted

The Episcopal Church, for instance, ordained an openly gay man as a priest, not long ago.

7. I look at those innocent kids and I wonder how many...
...of them are being molested by church elders?

Sometimes it takes a decade or two for the entire evil story to be revealed.

If these kid are Catholic, they are all vulnerable.

10. It's Wells Cathedral in UK, so it's C of England.
Just because it's kids in a church, please don't assume CATHOLIC and PEDOPHILIA.

particularly for the repressed memory crowd.

35. Even sadder for the innocents who get accused
based on no proof other than the hunches, dreams, and free associations of those who build their lives around recovering "repressed memories" of abuse.

18. Some people use religion
to legitimize their bigotry, hate and prejudice. Puts Gods stamp of approval on all kinds of behavior, as we know. I make a distinction between religion and spirituality, and I have a problem with "religion" too, even though I'm a church member.

Meanwhile, this is just damn funny! K & R
