Terry Jones Denied!
The jury has reached a verdict in the trial for Quran-burning pastor Terry Jones over his plans to protest outside the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, the largest mosque in the United States.

The jury denied his request to protest outside of the Islamic Center!

3. Nah, he's gonna put a bullet in his own head
Edited on Fri Apr-22-11 05:45 PM by notadmblnd
It was reported in the local paper that while at a TV station in Southfield he shot a hole through the floor of his car with one of the guns he was carrying with him.

Apparently, he doesn't have enough faith that his god will protect him while visiting the area.

4. If you wave a red flag and stick sharp barbed sticks in a bull...
one has to expect they may gore your ass. And, like the bull, there just may be some in the audience cheering on the bull... Just sayin.... If you are obnoxious enough, bigoted enough, blatantly bullying, you tend to lose that moral high ground...

5. I think the guy is a bit confused, and not to bright.
And he helps paint an image some like, so he made it on the news.

On the topic, about your comment, function not data. (not about Terry Jones.)

If you are obnoxious enough, most consider it obnoxious when someone persistently states what someone else does not like, sometimes wrong, sometimes right. And if someone can not argue against it, they get mad for being wrong and faced with having to correct that situation and realize they are wrong. So they think the person showing them they are wrong is being obnoxious.

bigoted enough, Don't know anything about that

blatantly bullying, Some bully, that is a stronger picking on weaker people. It requires a judgment of what is wrong and right, since all forms of governmental enforcement of laws, is a bigger unit picking on a smaller one. When it is wrong, by not being just, then it is bulling, if it is from a justified argument, then it is justice being enforced.

you tend to lose that moral high ground - have to keep that, to give that up loses the whole point, if your not on the morale high ground, then the above conditions flip the argument. That comment is the component to determine the other things you mentioned.

I am due beer and travel money, and they will smear and distort to try to defend against that, but they know it is due.

On a side note, the Islamic factions of global government do have some influence in policy in global matters. For instance Saudi has some influence in some places. Mostly becuase they take the social control elements, and not the spiritual elements in those texts, but there is some of that in some global policy ideas. Since it is more control orientated still being about centuries ago social conditions.
