Tattoo helps ID gang member convicted of murder

A Southern California gang member has been convicted of first-degree murder in the killing of a rival whose death authorities say was immortalized in an elaborate tattoo of the crime scene on the gangster's chest.

Anthony Garcia, 25, was found guilty Wednesday in the death of John Juarez, 23, outside a liquor store in Pico Rivera on Jan. 23, 2004. The case had turned cold until a Los Angeles County investigator spotted a photo of Garcia's tattoo and recognized the crime scene because he had visited it as a station sergeant in the Los Angeles-area city.

The tattoo, which stretches from Garcia's neck to his chest and from arm to arm, showed particulars of the scene, including Christmas lights on the store's roof, a street sign and a bent street lamp.

16. OK, I was thinking my daughter's classmate was really

dumb for taking a picture of herself sitting at her AP science classroom desk with her skirt pulled up high and posting the pic on Facebook. On her thighs you clearly see she had written the answers for the test. Her reasoning was that a teacher could be charged with sexual misconduct if he asked her to raise her skirt so he could make sure she wasn't cheating.

Her science teacher is friends with some of her peers and she had her FB access set to "friends of friends". Yup, he saw it and knew exactly who it was and brought her and another girl up on acad. honesty charges. ;)

That guy's tattoo definitely beats the 'pen on the thigh' evidence.

23. I've seen a big change in a friend of mine from school.

We went to school together from a very young age. He was a sincerely happy open faced bright kid. He's still good through and through, but the look in his eyes tells the rest of the story. The look in his eyes has changed from open and wide eyed to a harrowing, almost haunted look. He's no longer bouncy and happy. He's still a really nice good guy, but he's more reserved now and looks absolutely destroyed inside. I want to hug him every time I see him. I want to give him some kind of happiness back. He's lost that and it is hard to see.
