Police say new video shows Ray-Pec bus driver took appropriate actions in breaking up bus fight

RAYMORE, Missouri - A school bus driver is cleared of any wrongdoing involving a confrontation with a student.

New video released Thursday by the Raymore Police Department shows another view of a school bus fight caught on tape.

A parent of another student on the bus provided the video to police. We have blurred out the faces in the video to protect the students’ identities because they are in elementary school.

Police said the video shows the bus driver was trying to calm an aggressive 11-year-old student.

4. I feel sorry for the bus driver.. that ANY driver should have to put up being assaulted by this kid.

Drivers are paid to drive the bus.. not to be punching bags for out-of-control bullies.. (no matter if they are only 11 years old)

I wonder if this kid goes home and tells his parents, "Fuck You.. you're a fat man-whore".

This kid needs more than a "time out".

Sadly, bus drivers get zero support from the paretns or the school.

The bus driver did all he could do.

Every parent needs to see this so they understand what their children are capable of. Even good kids behave badly in a mob. I wasn't AT ALL surprised to see the little dude get off the bus and walk into a fairly affluent midwestern suburb.

The agressor needs help and his parents can drive him to school for the year IMHO. Legally speaking, In Missouri, a bus driver, teacher or care provider for that child could only document the behavior and physically intervene to prevent injury to another student.

Kid needs to be kicked out of school as well as off the bus. Let Mommy and Daddy deal with this one at home for a spell.
