The values behind the Ryan Budget explained (thanks to DU'er Indepat)
1) First and foremost, the welfare of and for our uber-wealthy and large international corporations is far more important than the general welfare (the overall welfare of our nation and its people);

(2) The welfare of the MIC is infinitely more important than the general welfare and prodigious sums will be expended in treasure and blood to keep us safe from terror (read exert global hegemony) whereas countless thousands will be left to suffer and die from lack of proper medical care, all the while our national infrastructure crumbles;

(3) Capitalism will be allowed to run amok largely unfettered by governmental interference, control, or oversight, their profits will be privatized, their losses will be socialized (borne by the taxpayers) and egregiously blatant criminality will not be prosecuted to the full extent of the law; and

(4) When 1, 2, and 3 have created a concentration of wealth among a very few and the worst economy, jobs market, housing market, income inequality, standard of living, and quality of life in several generations, don't prime the pump, but rather slash promised (and pre-paid) benefits and all other social spending, further gorge the MIC, and give further tax cuts to those in #1 above.

Blatantly and shamelessly copied and re-posted.
