have the potential of making money from Google Adsense. Three things I can say about this: One, it's not a scam. It's Google and is legit. Two, I make money from it myself. And three, the amount of money you make is dependent on the amount of effort you want to put in.

There are a couple of ways to make money from Adsense in my experience. Purchase domains and then begin filling them with content. I suggest you write about stuff you enjoy so that it maintains your interest. And it helps that your hobby or whatever you write about has as narrow a niche as profitably possible. Narrow focus sharply targets your audience, making it more likely that the ads Adsense displays will be clicked, thereby making you money.

The drawback for many people, especially those looking to make money and not spend it, is that to do your own websites with your own domains you must first buy the domains and then you must purchase monthly hosting. And, you must renew the domains at least once a year. That can cost a fair amount of money when added up over the entire year. So, how can you make money from Adsense without having your own domains and websites?

The answer is you offer to write articles for other people to publish on their website and in exchange for your article or blog post the website owner, who already uses Adsense in their own posts, instead puts your Adsense code in the ad slot on the page with your article. This helps the website owner with fresh content for his or her site but it also encourages the author to produce quality work so that the article gets linked to, increasing traffic and clicks on your ad.

For instance, let's say your hobby is chess. You're pretty good and feel you have things to say about the game of chess, strategy, philosophy. You find a site that discusses the game of chess and sells related products. The owner agrees to the exchange of content for Adsense placement. Then, you write what I call "anchor article". This is an article that is very helpful. Your article is about a particular strategy that improves a players game. It is so good that other sites and forums and social media begin linking to it as a reference. THIS is where Adsense begins paying off.

I personally own several domains for which I currently make such arrangements. I am currently in need of alternative energy articles, especially solar, for a busy website. But I could also use some articles about camping and other outdoors activities, especially real life experiences. But there are also freelance opportunities which I myself use and can vouch for. If you can write, you can hire yourself out. I just hired someone from elance.com to write 10 articles for me. However, with an arrangement like that, the writer I hired made just $100 one time for those 10 articles. If he had written them with an agreement to publish his Adsense ads on the 10 articles, he could have possibly made $100 per month instead.

Anyways, if you want to know more you can PM me but this is not a scam and it doesn't cost you anything but the time it takes you to create a 400-word article and an easy to obtain Adsense account. Like I said, I make money this way and if you can communicate effictively you can too.

surely qualify to proofread typists' inferior grammar, spelling errors, listening errors, and missing information. Oops! I mean doctors' dictation. I hear physicians, among others, now send anything and everything by attaching a simple "Dictated but not signed, read, or reviewed" to expedite delivery. Little do they understand that those documents also go largely unread as well on the other end unless there is a crisis, simply being initialed and charted.

Of course, I hear these LEGIT companies pay on commission per errors caught, and somehow those errors magically vanish when sent electronically through a process of multiple proofreaders, but then somehow magically reappear in YOUR medical records, your court documents, or your favorite science media publications.

Most of the jobs are either customer service or technical support, but they are actual jobs with hourly pay, whether there are callers or not. You're even hired as an employee, so they take out for your taxes and so on. I enjoyed it, as much as one can enjoy customer service. :)

11. I started working for a local successful dog trainer

and eventually we added an "At Home" feature to his training program in which I take a dog/puppy home with me for a week for enhanced training. They are potty trained, socialized with cats, dogs and humans, learn manners as well as thier basic obedience. I know it's not for everyone but it has worked out nicely for me. It has kept me busy, paid, and I have had the pleasure of having the company of puppies.

can be done from your computer at home. Mrs.88 works from home much of the time unless she has to go in for meetings. All you need is an network admin willing to set up a VPN or the right software to let your computer at home control your computer at work. That and a little call forwarding and your set.

Content writing for websites sounds like the perfect job to do from home. Mrs.88 is the marketing director and webmaster for her company some days it just does not pay to go in, the time is better spent working with those over seas in different time zones.

There is a revolution in computer controlled machine tools going on for the last ten years or so, highly expensive, complex and dedicated machine controllers are being replaced by a standard desktop PC running inexpensive or even free software, indeed there is a even a version of Linux specifically developed for real time machine control, Linux EMC. My brother and I have retrofitted an older computerized milling machine with new electronics driven by a PC and now make gun and camera accessories in our small shop on my brother's property.

We sell on Ebay, Gunbrokers and several other auction type sites.

This is my fourth computer controlled machine tool that I've either built from scratch or retrofitted an old machine, I've got a lot of experience in this field now and would be happy to help any DUer who is interested in this type opportunity.

right now that companies are seeking ways to reduce their office space requirements by having "back office" work telecommute. This has translated as IT, HR, and accounting, as well as some administrative work. Personally, I think putting HR outside of the office is really counter-intuitive, but that's what's happening.

so, my suggestion is that if you're in any of these fields and are interested in working from home, you might let it be known that you're interested in a telecommuting option so this gets on your company's radar. if you're unemployed and have skills in these areas, you might double-down your search b/c this sort of shift will cause some slack in the job market.

for the record, i don't see this as a great short-term trend, b/c companies are taking "big" positions and making them smaller, lower paying. but, if you need to work from home, this might provide some opportunity.

I've got an Android smartphone, I have it rooted, I've downloaded the Android Development Kit (which is available free online), and I've got some programming skills, so I'm going to try making some simple apps. You can either charge for them (though getting enough paying customers is hard because of the proliferation of free apps) or you can embed Google advertisements in your apps and rake in some advertising money.

It's not particularly hard to get an app on the Android Market.
