1. Did the pagans worry about the |
|
Monday through Sunday thing?
Just wondering what their calendars looked like?

3. The days of the weeks and months were named by Pagans. |
|
Interesting, huh?
Sunday - Sun Day Monday - Moon Day Tuesday - Tiw's Day (Old English origin) Wednesday - Woden's Day Thursday - Thor's day Friday - Frige's day Saturday - Saturn's day
Different pagan sources, but all pagan in origin. That's English, of course.
January - Named for Janus February - Named after a pagan festival March - Named after Mars, a pagan deity April - From a Latin word meaning "to open" May - Named after Maia, another pagan deity June - Juno, a pagan deity July - Julius Caesar August - Augustus Caesar September, October, November, December - after Latin numbers for 7, 8, 9, 10
All pre-Christian sources.
