destroys 100 computer hard drives blocks investigation of sons hanging and slitting dogs throat
Edited on Sun Apr-24-11 09:22 PM by louslobbs
with a friend, steals $70,000 worth of state furniture from the governors mansion and wife says "it must be there somewhere", releases a violent, murderous felon who went on to kill two more women, uses state airplanes as personal transportation, sets up own non-profit to profit himself, eats squirrels cooked in a pop corn popper, has a vindictive thin skinned anger, doesn't believe in evolution, won't say if women should be preachers, believes a wife is to submit graciously to the servant leadership of her husband even as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ, believes Adam and Eve were real people, and no one is better at saying one thing,.... doing the opposite.... and getting credit for both: of talking small government and actually promoting big government lol........, made a conscious attempt to keep state police from investigating the dog killing by his son David, set up bridal registries at Dillard's and Target for themselves....... having already been married for more than 30yrs,........ they registered for $7000 in housewares and $1000 in gift cards in this way, because state ethics laws prohibited people from receiving gifts of more than $100 as a reward for doing their job, but there was an exception for wedding presents,.... used state funds for upkeep of the mansion on panty hose, barbecues, a dog house, dry cleaning, boat fuel, and alterations to clothes, settled out of court by agreeing that legal doubts existed over use of the funds....... Can you guess who this Republicon Presidential hopeful is? No, it's not Sarah Palin, can you figure it out before you look below? This person claims to be a Southern Baptist, plays the bass guitar, apparently lies, steals, cheats and is a total hypocrite. Ok, here goes. The Name will appear down post.

So, I start reading about this seemingly likable, alleged Christian, and start to realize that they are anything but.

Once this person started to engage in his desire to become President of the United States, he started to hide more of the bodies.

One of the first things that this Presidential hopeful made sure of doing before they left government, was the destruction of the hard drives of 100 computers with "god" knows what on them, that they were successfully trying to hide. This criminal action, forced the new governor to find and spend $335,000 just to replace the hard drives and computers destroyed, leaving not a penny in the emergency fund designed to pay for extra expenses during tornadoes, hurricanes and other needs during the last six months of the fiscal year. This alone tells me this person cannot be trusted. Why would anyone destroy these computers and hard drives, other than to hide "evil" or unlawful conduct?

This person also got a rapist released from prison, who then raped and killed two more women, even after several victims begged this person during that time not to, and shared their horrifying stories and fears, this person ignored their pleas to not release this violent, murderous, felon, and went to the Arkansas Parole board and secured the release. This same Parole board had recently declined parole for the felon (Wayne Dumond) but a preacher friend of this person, who ministered to Dumond in prison, shared his belief with this person, that Dumond had been "born-again". This person (idiot) felt and argued that the rapist was innocent, or at least got a "raw deal". "He'd been born on the wrong side of the tracks and hadn't been treated all that fairly." This person even wrote a letter to the rapist (Dumond), saying, "My desire is that you be released from prison. I feel that parole is the best way for your reintroduction to society to take place." This person commuted or pardoned over 669 prisoners, including 12 murderers during their time in office. Should this person be considered to sit in the oval office?

His son David and David's friend, Clayton Frady, were fired from their jobs at a Boy Scout camp because they hung a stray dog by its neck, slit its throat, and stoned it to death. Arkansas Governor Huckabee did everything in his "power" at the time, to prevent the State Police from investigating his son. The head of the State Police at the time was John Bailey, who later told Newsweek, that Governor Huckabees chief of staff and personal attorney, both "leaned" on him to not cooperate with the local prosecutor. Bailey said he viewed the pressure as improper and cut off communication. Seven months later, Bailey was called into Huckabees office and fired. Bailey claims that Huckabee told him that "I've lost confidence in your ability to do your job, I couldn't get you to help me with my son when I had "that" problem". This country needs another power hungry man as President?

Mike Huckabee also has a record of dipping into public funds and accepting improper gifts from supporters, something extremely problematic for a job like president where you control a trillion dollar budget.

He was investigated 16 times and cited five times by the Arkansas Ethics Commission for violating ethics rules. Two of those citations were for cash that the governor or his wife accepted but did not report. Huckabee's gifts peaked at $112,000 in 1999, including $23,000 worth of clothing; over half of that was given by one businessman who Huckabee appointed to a state board.

He claimed personal ownership of over $70,000 worth of furnishings in the governors mansion. The person who donated the furnishing, Cotton Grower Boe Adams said they were for the state, not the governor. After the Huckabees moved out in 2006, no one could find the furniture, even after a state audit. Huckabees wife insisted that "they must be there somewhere" lol. He also used state airplanes for personal transportation for his family and friends and in 1994 when he was lieutenant governor, he formed a non-profit called Action America which seemed to exist only to deliver money to him, without donors having to report or limit their contributions the way they would have a normal political contribution. A few years later, Action America paid Huckabee over $61,000 for giving speeches at "its events" lol, (its) being his own personal not for profit lol, wink wink OMG, and people want to consider this person for the Presidency?

Huckabee also admitted to eating squirrels he cooked in a popcorn popper.

People who know him say: that nice, sweet persona he shows on tv, is a fraud, he is actually quick to anger and repercussions can be swift and harsh.

Huckabee also claims, that years of his sermons were destroyed in a church remodeling, sorta like those 100 computer hard drives destroyed -- literally crushed -- when he left the governor's office. This is a man who makes sure that there is no evidence lying around, he hides the bodies. This is Presidential material? Huckabee is just another political fraud, lying, cheating and acting for the camera while hiding from view, the ugly truth of who he really is. Huckabee is a prime example of why we desperately need to protect the seperation of church and state. Imagine this guy using his vision of religion, incorporated in his governing of this country using bits and pieces of the Constitution, the bible and his obvious random and reckless decision making as shown by his past actions above.

Now close your eyes, and imagine a Huckabee Presidency. This is only one of the reasons Obama must be re elected to a second term, the alternatives are too horrendous to even consider.

1. I don't think Christianity is submission to Christ.
Edited on Sun Apr-24-11 09:29 PM by RandomThoughts
Some might, might depend on the person.

I think it is freedom from oppression.

I think Christ is better then needing submission.

Did you not read where he washed the disciples feet? That is not authoritarian. It is a fine line, but a shepherd that cares for the sheep, although a metaphor with traps in it, does not say it is about a superiority complex. Furthermore, most religious tellings say the same thing on angel topics, where angels that think in superior terms are not best types, and those that understand about serving are the better types.

Serving someone is not request of submission, but an actual willingness to be submissive, and in that people many times are submissive back, making it partnership, or friends, not authoritarian.

2. I think as you do, freedom from oppression, but Huckabee doesn't feel the way we do, in fact
until I did this research, I thought much better of him. I now know he is a complete fraud and an extreme danger to this country should he ever win the Presidency. Thanks for the comment.

5. It really does, I would never have voted for him, but I thought he was a decent guy, not anymore
the more we get this info out there, the less chance this type of person gets more power, of course we really need election reform asap combined with factual information otherwise we might just be spinning our wheels as the millionaires and billionaires and corporations buy more and more power and rig the election results to their liking. We just have to stand in solidarity against those who steal power to further enrich the 2% who want it all at We the People's expense.

warped, evil and dishonest. Their words say one thing and their actions tell the real story about who and what they are. We know who and what Huckabee is, and it's far uglier than most want to know or believe.

They are the main "deciders" (using a bu$hism). Fuckus on the Family probably loves Huckleberry 'cause he's a phony pulpit pimp. He's a Southern Baptist. Nothing against that. I married one once.. for a little while.... no dancing.... no drinking...... my a$$. She could hold her own in a beer joint.

Hey, I'm all for him as a conservanazi republiklan candidate. With either Caribou Barbie or Batshitcrazy Bachmann as a running mate. Hell yes! That would be the conservanazi ticket to beat. Eh?

I believe Fuckus on the Family is going to be pushing hard to say they will have final say on who will be the candidate for president. Remember Insane McCain picked Caribou Barbie to balance out the ticket because the hardcore conservanazi/bible thumpers said Insane wasn't a "real" conservanazi, whatever that is.

I'd almost donate to Huckleberry's campaign. I hope the conservanazis get someone as goofy as him to run.

Then, it would be a cinch for Obama.

9. There was also a story about some missing Arkansas GOP money
I never did find out what the upshot was, but there was a story floating around in 2003 where Huckabee didn't come off well. The original link is no longer active, but it can be found at the Internet Archive.

http://replay.web.archive.org/20050222040240/http://www.arkansasnews.com/archive/2003/11/25/News/67588.html

The taking of money by a staff members and the promise of money that never arrived from the Republican National Committee were among problems that led to financial disaster at the state party, one of its four district chairman said in an exclusive interview Saturday.

Jebb Young, chairman of the Second District Republican Committee and a member of the executive steering committee, said former finance director Heather Rackley took money from Republican Party of Arkansas coffers. He said the party's executive committee was kept in the dark about financial problems until it was too late to fix them. He said, as a result, the party lived beyond its means. . . .

Young said it's not clear how much money Rackley took from the party. He said she resigned in August, soon after she was confronted with the discrepancy. Young said a group of party insiders, including then-finance committee chairman Richard Bearden, then-party chairman Ryall and Republican National Committee field representative Kevin Shuvalov decided to keep the incident from the party's other leaders. They asked Gov. Mike Huckabee for money to replace the taken money, Young said. Huckabee controls a fund of donations for the governor's inauguration. That fund provided about $10,000, Young said. . . .

"Young seems determined to completely undermine the Republican Party of Arkansas with misinformation and misdirected anger," Huckabee said Monday. "His allegations are potentially libelous. We won't engage him in conversation through the newspaper without him first having communicated directly with the principals involved."

24. Well, knowing what I now know about Huck, almost anything could be true, he's not exactly a man with
integrity and he has been caught with his hand in the till again and again. Just look at a persons past behavior (in most cases) to determine what their future behavior might be. In Hucks case a liar, thief and cheat, with a large helping of hypocrisy.

"Huckabee said Monday. "His allegations are potentially libelous. We won't engage him in conversation through the newspaper without him first having communicated directly with the principals involved."

And if there is any truth in this accusation, which there probably is, Mr.Furniture theft Huckabee better known as Mr. non-profit that profits himself, knows that there is no libel. They all do it these political, lying pigs, deny, deny, deny and then feign great upset at being called out on their misdeeds then deny some more, the proof comes out and then they make some excuse, then blame someone else for the incident and then lawyer up. He's a pig, his son is a dog killing pig and his wife is a furniture stealing pig.

well until I researched this little dirt bag and now I'll post everywhere I can to let people know. If this guy were ever to win the Oval office, this country would suffer even more than it is now at the hands of the Republicon crazies in power across this land. I can just see us being stopped and asked, "are you a Christian"?..............."Where do you worship"?............."Do you believe Christ died for your sins"?........ok then, you may go.

blow at some point showing his true self. Also, why did he burn all those past sermons and crush all of those hard drives? The man is corrupt to the core with a touch of "evil" as well. Just another power hungry, crazy, alleged Christian con artist.

38. Right Jazzgirl, I was like you, I had heard of these incidents, but when I started to research, I
was amazed at what a two faced pig this guy is. He presents this nice guy image, thoughtful, kind, smart and even caring.......but it's all a farce. He's evil and ugly to the core, he's your average con man smiling in your face while he steals your life's savings. I sent this to a friend who has a very rigid and firm belief in this guy, he's going to show it to his mom, but she's a southern baptist and will probably refuse to read it at all exclaiming: "I don't want to see any damn lies about "pastor" Huckabee. Self righteous, close minded and blind. All we can do is put the facts out there and hope it will change a few minds. Thanks for your comment.

So the snarkiness (is that a word) lol, are little pieces of who they really are sneaking out, but they hold back the real stuff for private times when they can let loose on their family or some subordinate employed in their life. He's nothing less than a fake, phony and fraud with an alleged religious conviction. Maybe when his son hung that dog and slit its throat, he was practicing his form of religion?

pardon by the rapist (Dumond). Right-wing circles at the time, including NY Post columnist Steve Dunleavy and radio host Jay cole, had a conspiracy theory that Clinton railroaded Dumond.

Edited on Mon Apr-25-11 02:07 PM by JohnnyRingo
Republican presidential material that is.

I think he fits very nicely within the mold of faux conservative values that sits in the front pew so everyone can see him, then goes home to openly pray at the alter of the almighty hundred dollar bill.

What's more, I don't think he's even fooling the voters. Barstool republicans, or working class voters who cast ballots reflecting the better interests of Steve Forbes, respect these values because it's exactly what they'd do if they were in his shoes.

54. Just a stylistic comment, but I'd recommending laying off the 'lol's
You've got a great deal of content, and have put a lot of time and effort into research, but the lol's are more suited to a facebook status than a political piece.

And, the subject line is pretty much incomprehensible.

You got a lot of substance, but the manner of communicating it DOES make a difference.

myself because as I'm typing, I'm shaking my head in disbelief and some of the things I'm writing actually make me laugh uncomfortably and I type that moment. I consider your comment a thoughtful one and I appreciate it. I just did the same thing with my post on Mitt Romney, but the material isn't even close to as tragic as the Huckabee post. Thanks for the heads up, I learn something new everyday and this will just make me a better writer and lend more legitimacy for those who respect the content but can do without the (as you say) facebook type of writing. Thank you.

75. That's true, it should not be the only reason to reelect Obama, but for me, knowing what I know
about those running or planning to run, I could easily vote for his reelection based on that. I'm sure others could not, but I can understand their reasoning as well. I would like nothing better than to vote for someone I had confidence in, trusted, and believed in to do what is right and good for the 98% of us who seem to be neglected while corporations, millionaires and billionaires push their agendas for themselves and not We the People. I don't feel like I have that luxury, and I hate to say it this way, but I will vote for who I think will do the least damage to our country. It's definitely a type of cop out, but I'm just playing the cards that politics deals, so that I'm holding the best hand. I wish the situation were different. Thanks for the comment.

with those who say he's a "decent" guy (like I used to think). I love dogs, someone told me about what his son did to a dog and then I started to research who this guy was that would raise a son that would do such an atrocious thing to a living, breathing, feeling animal. I now know where the apple fell from and I'm going to spread it all over the place. That's what we need to do, put all the information about these people in one place, concise and with references for others to further research. Out them for what they really are and not that which they put out for show. Huckabee and his entire family are not Americas best. Thanks again for the comment.
