|
From www.monstersandcritics.com/news/asiapacific/news/article_1634982.php/Japan-to-cull-dying-livestock-in-no-entry-zone-near-nuclear-plant: Tokyo - Japanese officials moved into the no-entry zone Monday within a 20-kilometre radius of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant to start culling dying livestock, reports said. It goes on to state that the only animals that would be killed would be: ...livestock on the verge of death after obtaining the consent of the owners. PB

3. I believe some are dying without feed. However even the "healthy" grazers are... |

...radioactive, having consumed a great deal of grass by now, all of which has fallout on it. Whether its impacting their health in the sort term, I don't know.
The problem with such a highly radioactive area is that animals have no idea and just walk into or out of it. This is going to be a huge problem (we're dealing with plutonium in some cases, don't forget!) when migratory birds are moving through. I believe most of them circle back into Asia.
That shit's going everywhere, no stopping it.
