If I'm reading in the next cube/booth/whatever, even if I'm researching about porn, I'd like to be able to do so in silence. Isn't that one of the primary rules in most libraries, being quiet? ;)

The Children already have porn of their own but that's beside the point, right? We have to protect The Children!

And that's where private cubicles come in. The Children can play Poptropica without annoying the rest of us. Mary can research her embarrassing medical condition without every person in the library being able to look over her shoulder. And John can watch all the porn he wants and The Children will never be the wiser.
