Donald Trump seems to be very vulnerable to being fed a fake document about Obama right now. |

This would be similiar to how Dan Rather was fed a fake document when investigating George W. Bush*'s National Guard service. He seems to have fallen for this birth-certificate conspiracy theory pretty hard, and is accepting, or at least presenting, all sorts of "evidence" without really scrutinizing it. If someone were to contact his exploratory committee with some fake documents about Obama, that could later be easily debunked after Donald Trump presents them as evidence of the birth-certificate conspiracy theory, he could take a serious tumble in public credibility.

1. He would probably fall for that fake Kenyan Birth Certificate that came out a long time ago. It was |
|
hilarious but Orly bit on it completely.
I would love to see that happen again. heh

cause I'm not in his head, but I truly believe that he doesn't really believe a word he is saying. I think he just keeps saying it because it gets people's attention. After all, for some people, negative attention is better than no attention at all.
Your mileage may vary.

6. That's my opinion too. |

I'm betting Obama's not losing a minutes sleep over Trump's 'campaign'.

5. The only people who take this seriously are the rubes who believe it already. |
|
Which turns out to be a not so insignificant number of people who'll be voting in the Republican primary. Trumps platform appears to be focused on Obama's birth certificates and his college grades. Meanwhile, the rest of the field continues to stumble on with precious little political media oxygen. And each of them will be forced to take a stand on this issue - something that they really, really don't want to address.

the people who care and believe him would never accept the documents were fake and claim the people calling them fake part of the conspiracy... You can't win with these people because they are using logic or intelligence.

8. "he could take a serious tumble in public credibility." Impossible to fall much further imo. |
|
In fact we might even generate a "dead cat bounce" at this point. Maybe that is what that thing is on his head.
