Grover Norquist is simply a loud mouthed coward. |
|
Yes. I'm calling names. He was just interviewed by Lawrence O'Donnell and ran his mouth so much O'Donnell could barely make his point. That's what re-pubic-cons do best, shout. (Some cry.) http://www.rightwingnewswatch.com/2011/04/25/sen-coburn-didn%E2%80%99t-lie-but-grover-norquist%E2%80%99s-credibility-continues-to-die/

1. Probably the second most powerful man in America. He has |
|
been able by his tax cut pledge work, practically gutted the Social Safety Net. Unless they change the Republicans do not stand up to him. They cut the taxes.

4. That is exactly the word I was thinking as I listened to him speak |

That pledge does explain a lot. It is astonishing that some Dems have signed it. Think of the repercussions. Republicans elect a war monger to the Oval House, he declares war on two countries, and the economists say during the duration you can't wage war and not raise taxes (think Bush* tax cuts), but Republicans (as well as some Dems) remain mute on the subject.
It is no surprise this Country is in the shape that it is in. It does defy rational comprehension watching this all play out for a number of years, how these yokels can in campaign speeches BLAME Obama for the failure of this economic recovery taking so long. They have no shame. Why, why, why do people vote for these politicians?
The question I am left with is allowing temporary tax cuts to expire going to be considered the same as raising taxes. Of course it will.

5. Gotta keep in mind that when people like Norquist refer to the American People |
|
he means his rich friends. not people like the rest of us. but I wonder, by making these politicians sign a pledge of allegiance to the people that is represented by Norquists organization; isn't some kind of law being broke?
