Pat Robertson: Leftists use abortion to make straight women equal with lesbians

Television evangelist Pat Robertson said Monday on ABC Family's The 700 Club that progressives support legal access to abortion because they want to make straight women equal with lesbians.

While discussing why President Barack Obama supported the funding of Planned Parenthood, Robertson said the far left supported a "culture of death" that was "livid about killing babies."

"If a woman is a lesbian, what advantage does she have over a married woman? Or what deficiency does she have?" he asked his co-host, Terry Meeuwsen.

"Well, she can’t have children," Meeuwsen answered.

"That’s exactly right," he said. "And so if these married women don’t have children, if they abort their babies, then that kind of puts them on a level playing field. And you say, nobody’s there to express that? Isn’t that shocking? Well, think about it a little bit ladies and gentlemen."

Let's go back to the 08 Primary, shall we? When Barack Obama reached into the 700 Club talent pool and hired as personal surrogate a 'minister' who on that program had called for war on gay people, accused us of 'trying to kill children' and so forth. When the GLBT community raised hell about this slander, we were informed by Obama that such 'ministers' were speaking for the faith community, for 'good, decent and moral people'. He said he had no intention of apologizing for using such a minister as surrogate, and in fact he swore that such people would always be at his table.
Here on DU I was told that the anti gay preachers were needed to prove Obama's 'bona fides' to the faith community.
So if you have issues with the truth being spoken, take it up with Barack Obama, Josh DuBois, Donnie McClurkin, Kirbyjon Caldwell, Rick Warren, Leah Daughtry. In short, clean your own damn house, because those of us who do not buy that hate filled dogma are not going to play silent chumps for the sake of your religious sensibilities. If your own offend you, that is so very much not my concern. In fact, it thrills me. Because you should be angry at all of the hate preachers who destroy the image of your faith. They are the face of your community. It has no better face. I mean, really, what do the faithers do that sets them apart, other than slandering minorities and whining about women having choice?

See, Robertson thinks that God prevents lesbians from getting pregnant by physically keeping them from being impregnated. This is done by God himself with something that looks like a rubber dam that dentists use, except it's DOWN THERE. The problem is, it's called a God Dam, so Robertson is prevented from mentioning it, since he'd burn in hell for an eternity for the crime of Phonetically Taking God's Name in Vain.
