I think the best Weather website is still the one by the government |
|
No offense to Accuweather or Intellicast or Wunderground.
But it seems to me that weather.gov is still the best one.
I'm pretty sure that all those sites get a lot of their information from the federal one.
And if you are a bit tech-savvy, you can slice and dice their data any which way you want to. The information is in all their FAQs.
And the Republicans want to destroy the National Weather Service, turning the whole deal over to "private enterprise."
As usual, I think the Republicans are a bunch of selfish idiots.
Right now, it looks like I'm going to face some fearsome storms soon. I hope I don't get blown away. :)
Save civilization. Vote Democratic.

wrong, because I keep hearing that the government can do nothing right. In fact, I heard this stated at my recent Easter dinner during a recitation of right-wing talking points, which, as we know, are nothing but the cold hard truth. You must be in the thrall of liberal extremists who have brain washed you quite completely.
I happen to agree with you, but I too am brainwashed. I am a social worker who actually works with those "on the dole" so what do I know about these things? Glenn and Rush are the ones with the real story.

3. i believe they do get their info from NOAA. but wouldn't it be great if we paid for it |
|
with our taxes and THEN we get to pay for it again to see it!! And that was the only way we got to see it was to pay for it again!! That is apparently the american way.

9. As a surfer and waterman, my bookmarks |
|
are 80 percent NOAA and 20 percent everything else. From direct real time buoy reports to SPAC/NPAC storm activity, NOAA simply rocks.

11. That's because the government is secretly controlling the weather |
|
So of course they know what will happen next.
