Last night Tweety covered the flack the repub congresspeople are taking |
|
on the abolition of Medicare in the Ryan budget. Hooray!
I'm glad he's doing this. Last week Rachel commented on the disparity of coverage beteen the Tea Party eruptions at Town Hall meetings of a year or so ago compared to what these republicans are now facing at home in their meetings. Tweety was laughing at the republican on the videotape trying desperately to "explain" his vote for the Ryan budget to ticked off constituents. It was good coverage. He had David Corn on who made an excellent point: that people in their 20s and 30s whose 50ish parents would not see Medicare under the Ryan plan realize that the financial burden of caring for their aging parents would fall on THEM, so they're not real happy either!
Heh, this is turning out to be SUCH a lose-lose proposition for the pukes!

1. They wanted so badly to do what their constituents told them last year |
|
will they feel the same way about the people following these meetings?
I suspect not!

5. The R's Randicons are treating the teahadis like pawns. |
|
Because they think the teahadis have no where else to go...
Looks almost like a reflection of what was the DLC's orientation to progressives.
It's enough to make a person think that Dick Morris must be involved somehow.
