Obama graduated from Columbia University in New York in 1983 with a degree in political science after transferring from Occidental College in California. He went on to Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude 1991 and was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review.

Obama's 2008 campaign did not release his college transcripts, and in his best-selling memoir, "Dreams From My Father," Obama indicated he hadn't always been an academic star. Trump told the AP that Obama's refusal to release his college grades were part of a pattern of concealing information about himself."

5. My son's best friend attended Yale.

On an academic scholarship, out of Berkeley. He had a choice; he was accepted at both Harvard and Yale.

When you don't have connections or family money, like GWB, that's how it's done. You earn your way in.

I was a high school dropout who eventually got a GED and went to my home state's flagship public university in my early-mid 20s. I was the first person in my family to get a college degree. Got straight-A grades and applied to ten law schools. Got admitted to Penn, Columbia, Cornell, UCLA, USC, seveal other top schools and eventually decided to go to Harvard. Was on the wait list at none of them. Only place I didn't get in was Yale. I had an interesting story and the grades/LSAT to back it up.
