Three passengers pulled from United flight for taking photos
(sorry if posted before)

DENVER -- A United plane taxiing on the runway at Denver International Airport returned to its gate Thursday night after a passenger notified a flight attendant of three suspicious passengers on board.

The three suspicious passengers and the male passenger who made the report were removed from the plane and questioned, Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said

All four men were eventually cleared and all four men were rebooked on later flights, he said.

No arrests were made.

It's believed that a couple of the passengers were taking photographs, or something like that, while the plane was taxiing, and that raised suspicion, said DIA spokesman Jeff Green.

3. How strange. I've seen people taking photos out of the
plane's windows many times. It's part of the documentation of a trip for some people. Overreaction, I think. Stupid passenger who reported it, and stupid reaction from the flight crew.

5. Imagine that!
I would have taken pic of take-off at Charles DeGaulle, 'cause was on double-deck airbus w HUGE wing span, but wasn't well enough organized at the time to do so.

6. I'm glad the accuser was detained.

Maybe next time he will think twice about inconveniencing everyone.

The story doesn't say, but I have to wonder if the accused had
dark skin/features. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the basis
for the reporting party's hysteria.

15. Well, if they were using cell phones, they were disobeying the "turn off all battery devices"
It may have been more of breaking an FAA regulation by using a battery powered device than the pictures themselves.

17. I thought all passengers were required to turn off all electronics until the plan
reaches 10,000ft, after pulling away from the gate.
