Dear Donald Trump:
Edited on Tue Apr-26-11 04:56 PM by Brigid
Just shut up already with the birther nonsense. Just. Shut. Up. Even Michelle Bachman has given up on this non-issue. If you want to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate, you don't have time to waste on this crap. You are going to have to educate yourself and get ready to go up against an incumbent President who will mop up the floor with you in the debates. As fun as that would be to watch, we the voters have too many serious issues facing this country to waste time on someone who isn't even going to talk about them. Or are you even serious about this presidential bid? I have to wonder.

1. It's time for him to start ragging on PBIA and the fuel exhaust that drops
on the umbrellas and cushions at Mar-a-Lago. They laughed at him. He wanted all planes to change their flight patterns because of the noise and the exhaust. He's a joke.

2. Au contraire
As tiresome as the birther crap is, and as phony a candidate as T Rump is, I'm all for him continuing to spout off and suck up all the political coverage right now. We have months before the campaign starts in earnest, and T Rump will be nowhere to be found. As soon as he has to file official papers and a financial disclosure form, T Rump will suddenly remember that he has, like, a zillion things to do in 2012, and he couldn't possibly run for president, even though he be the biggest, bestest, presidentinest president ever!

Meanwhile, every Republican candidate should be closely questioned on this nontroversy, because their answer will hurt them with some significant segment of the party base. If a candidate is full birther or even a partial birther, they'll never see a dime from the Big Money Boyz who fund the Republicans. If a candidate is a birther denier, they'll be totally unacceptable to the Tea Baggers, who will yammer their loudest about what a "betrayal" their candidacy is to the GOP.

Let's see Republican Thunderdome, baby! Fight, fight, fight!

4. I would love to see a debate..
with the President and Trump. As it is now,we all can see that Trump is thin skinned over just the slightness of comments.

He couldn't take it that might just take him over the edge because one of the "BLACKS" will mop the floor with his ignorant ass!!
