When I watch Rachel I feel like I'm in class--a class in which I can be naked, drink whiskey and smoke weed, but still a class--Ed just yells at me.

3. Yep, Ed reaches a group of people that like his approach. I like Rachel too, but

she's more heady. I watch both of them and really like their programs. I think Ed shares the utter frustration many people feel and they can relate to him.

One thing that OBVIOUSLY sells in the current American political scene is PASSION. Olbermann's passion was what made him the left's lightening rod. We have truth, but truth without passion is sterile and doesn't resonate with the populus. Ed's good with the passion AND truth.

I like Rachel too of course, but she is MUCH more analytical than passionate.
