OMG! Ronald Reagan was born in Ireland! |
|
Where is my proof? I don't need it!
All I have to do is ASSERT that Ronald Reagan was born in Ireland and that any evidence to the contrary was faked. That has as much credibility as the birther nonsense.
So, what the heck. I'm becoming a Reagan birther. Join me!

I'm sure you've heard the speculation that Andrew Jackson was born on a ship coming from Ireland. K&R.

14. He was born on a U.S. military base. |
|
It is considered U.S. territory. Actually it was a question at the time of the campaign and there was quite a bit of discussion. The U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution saying McCain was eligible to run for president. http://leahy.senate.gov/press/press_releases/release/?id=b20b320d-441b-4483-bc36-2fbca0e2d3ce

18. Doesn't matter. McCain was born in the country Panama. |
|
The military base was not a US territory in any case. It was leased form Panama. Besides McCain was born in a Panamanian hospital.

19. He qualified under federal citizenship law. |
|
The first Congress, on March 26, 1790, approved an act that declared, "The children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond sea, or outside the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural-born citizens of the United States." But if you disagree take it up with Senator Leahy. He sponsored the resolution.

21. So? Obama qualified under federal citizenship law |
|
but that hasn't stopped people from claiming otherwise.
McCain wasn't born in the United States, period. So Obama has a stronger claim to being natural born than John McCain did.

27. He said no such thing. |
|
He just pointed out that McCain was born in Panama. As I pointed out, McCain has less of a claim to natural born citizenship since he wasn't born within the confines of the United States. So why are the biggest birthers people who wanted McCain in the White House?

The poster asked why no question had been raised about McCain's eligibility to run in 2008. That means the poster does not think he was qualified.

Hell, based on how his policies are still in vogue, I don't believe he's really dead.
I hear he keeps himself alive by drinking the blood of poor people.
