Bush to finish 100K bike race for wounded soldiers
TERLINGUA, Texas — Former president George W. Bush will finish a 100 kilometer mountain bike race across Big Bend National Park on Wednesday, along with 14 members of the armed forces who have suffered serious wounds in Iraq or Afghanistan.

The 3-day-long Warrior 100 race started Monday and will finish Wednesday. Bush is expected to deliver remarks on the race and his commitment to soldiers that have been injured in combat.

The 14 soldiers are members of the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping rehabilitate soldiers wounded in service after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The race also marks the inauguration of the Bush Institute Social Enterprise initiative, an effort to promote the efforts of citizens that find innovative ways to help their communities.

4. Perhaps he will say something about the lies he and the Republicons told to start this war?
I mean, how many have been wounded or died in this ongoing oil-profits crusade because of the lies he and his chickenhawk RepubliCronies told?

how much the troops loved Bush when he was CIC and fawn over his *contribution* to wounded vets for days. :eyes: :banghead:

8. LOL!
That's why he never became a Nascar driver. Every time he got the lead he had to pull over and ask directions.

10. Those wounded soldiers got that way because he had to have his wars
Illegal, lied into wars.

That's like the arsonist getting to give the family who lost people in the fire he started a pep talk.

12. He will puff up his chest after he finishes ahead of a one legged cyclist
Probably will rub someone's bald head. Will be obnoxious and sport at least one abrasion on his face.

20. There wouldn't be any wounded American veterans from Iraq, if not for the little warmonger bush.
The little turd from Crawford lied America into two illegal, immoral, unnecessary and disastrous wars.

Now, pre-emptive war is no longer NAZI -- it's become tradition.
