1. This could be a good teaching moment on racism, when obvious double standards are hung in the open..
...someone should call them out and say it's wrong.

2. It's a nice day outside. I think I'll go there instead.
Thanks for the warning. I'll just leave the babble box off for a few days.

11. I couldn't believe how MSNBC was going on and on about him this morning and
the birther nonsense, and in depth analysis. I turned the crap off.

9. He gets to have a press conference to announce the season finale of his TV show
By questioning the legitimacy of the duly elected President of the United States.

Disgusting.

12. T Rump can say anything he wants
I just don't quite see why NBC feels compelled to broadcast his ramblings. It was so nice of Matt Lauer, Chuck Todd and David Gregory to go over the "birther" issue and grant total absolution to all of NBC for any complicity in the nontroversy. Did you know that Gregory has had several Republican guests on his show, and sometimes, when they're spouting the birther nonsense, Gregory challenges them on it? Fluffy manfully conceded that none of them ever responded to his challenge (Did they even recognize Gregory's "challenge" with his lips so firmly planted on their backsides?), but be assured that Gregory was like a bulldog or something on the birther issue. Sometimes. When he remembered to do so.

All three men were just flabbergasted that the relentless harping on the issue had caused a plurality, nearly half, of all Republicans to say they didn't think Barack Obama was born in the United States. None of them had the slightest clue where Republicans could have gotten such an idea! Then they cut away to Donald Trump in New Hampshire, crowing about how he manipulated events.

I wonder what might have happened had NBC been merely half as curious about George W. Bush's "career" in the Texas Air National Guard, particularly his last year or so, apparently spent in Alabama?
