1. Yeah, I said similar in a post earlier.
Gotta love our media. They'll do anything to avoid real issues.

2. Yeah, when pigs fly
What galls me is this: you will recall the widespread belief that George W. Bush did not fully complete his military service, that he got into the National Guard through connections, that he had a less than stellar record ....

When Dan Rather tried to investigate that story, he was fired. A longstanding journalist was fired and that was the end of the story. The media never gave it the time of day.

This birtherism stuff will continue, and will get even more attention. The media will not be shamed. If it's against a Democrat, anything any crackpot says, as long as they bring it up, will be covered. Remember Whitewater? Take that as a lesson.

WHen it comes to Democrats, if a charge is leveled, no matter how ridiculous or insignificant, it will become a story. When a Bush makes dubious stock sales, gets bad grades, ruins companies right and left, trades on family connections, or any other manner of shenanigans, their lips are sealed. No discussion.

4. True, and it makes this worse ...
But they did it to Clinton, too. A black Republican would not get this kind of mishegas.

6. Are you referring to the monica lewinsky scandal? If so,
there is no comparison. Don't even go there.

8. No, I said specifically Whitewater
read my post.

That went on for absolute years, and there was nothing to it. The Clintons lost money on that deal, and it was proven they never did anything wrong. It was a Richard Mellon Scaife piece of crap thrown against the wall that every newspaper and outlet picked up, that Congress ordered a special prosecutor for, and that went on for years and years on the front pages of every paper in the country. And then it was found there was nothing to it.

5. and pick up obsessing on something else Obama, like Harvard-gate,....
or his-childhood-in-Indonesia-gate, or some other such nonsense. I totally blame the "if it bleeds, it leads" media for giving any kook with a conspiracy a public voice. It won't stop.

12. The corporate media certainly helped keep this issue alive.
This birther crap was so insane that it was not worthy of news, (except on fox fake news).
