That's three arrests for Bush - Where's the police report?
"No, my lawyer friend continued, the only reason to cover it up would be that there was something ELSE connected to the arrest that night e.g., drugs or resisting arrest. This other potential charge could have been dropped and expunged. The reporter was shown only the court docket which listed Bush's name, address, and the charge to which he pleaded guilty.

What we need to see is the actual POLICE REPORT from that night. Assuming it hasn't been doctored, that will tell us the truth."

Just asking!

3. Waste of time. Dude's an ex-President.
If you want to research something, research potential candidates for 2012.

4. He's a Republican
And btw, the issues raised about Obama will never go away. Don't you know that? He'll never be legit in "their" minds and will be scrutinized way past our lifetimes.

And thanks for the thread kick.

5. Yes, he is. I still think it's a waste of time.
Digging up stuff is worthwhile for a current candidate. Digging up stuff on people who are out of office and who will never be in office again seems like a waste of time to me. It accomplishes nothing, and expends time and energy on a useless quest. That time and energy could be better used investigating an actual candidate.

As for kicking your thread, you needn't thank me for that. I write when I see something that interests me. Other than that, I don't really care where the thread ends up on a list I don't use.

6. It's your choice if you find history a waste of time. I love reading history.
People have been writing about presidents as long as there have been presidents.

You've got a weak and failed argument there.

7. agree, + 1
SICK AND TIRED of the "move on" meme.

When it's Jack Kennedy and how many chicks he boffed, ppl are all into wanting to learn about "history".

But when it's Georgie Butch (unindicted co-conspirator), we need to NOT learn about history?

+1

10. I even watched the recent Kennedy mini series
I have a fascination with the presidents and now a growing interest in the Supreme Court. I'll never live long enough to satisfy my curiosity.

It was just an opinion. Yours may differ. See my signature line.

9. I saw your earlier posting asking people to cease the birth cert discussion
And I understand. But it's not going away so turn around is fair play. And W will always be a standout star in terms of books written about him and his family. After all, he was one of the worst presidents. We had a front row seat to that performance. And I enjoy shoving him up right wing noses - especially today.

Take care. See you around the board.

11. Still, further disclosure may help prevent history from being rewritten.
If his hero status continues to be dinged, we may yet see him (and his cronies) at the Hague.

I doubt that I am alone in thinking "Never Forgive, Never Forget" about BushCo*. They need to pay for what they've done to us.

12. Right on. I was outraged when the city of
Houston (or was it Dallas) condemned a bunch of land so Bush could build a stadium there, and that was long before he was pResident. I'm outraged that the privileged and well-connected get treats and favors that go well beyond what they should. If this can add to the record about his character and behavior, then, yes, dig for that police report. Right on.
