Nicole Sandler on Thom Hartmann. OMG!

Did you catch the last caller on Thom? It was Nicole Sandler who sometimes subs for Randi Rhodes. She also has her own radio show, http://radioornot.com/.

She went to a Town Hall meeting for Congressman Allen West of Florida. She eventually was told to leave the meeting because she asked a question that hadn't been written down on a card for her staff to decide whether to give it to Mr. West. She left and because there was a CBS news crew outside, spoke to them, and then she got arrested, was tazed and thrown into a jail cell with other women and then they were forgotten. When she complained to the jailer about the conditions, he put her into solitary.

I mean, what kind of a Republican Nazi club is Allen West running? Who are the police who are his SS. I'm really shocked. This is worse than when Amy Goodman was arrested at the RNC convention.

and really seemed flabbergasted. I don't remember his final comment but something to the effect that she had really been through something. I don't think he knows who she is.

Actual police officers banned/removed two people who tried to go to a Palin book-signing in Wasilla (they were NOT carrying signs or in anyway disruptive - they were merely "known" anti-Palin bloggers). Palin did not get away with it in Madison, WI ONLY because there were more protesters (booing her) than teabaggers.
