Fukushima radiation levels 15,000% higher than first reported

Japan has admitted that radiation levels from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant reactors are much higher than originally reported. It seems that someone "accidentally' put the decimal point in the wrong place (0.69 instead of 6.90).

Ever since the reactors were damaged as a result of the earthquake and tsunami on March 11, we have seen an endless stream of misleading figures. snip

No one is suggesting that the radiation currently drifting over the United States and Canada is going to cause instant deaths, the levels would have to be extremely high to do that. The danger may not become apparent for many more years.

The problems we can expect to see will be an increase in the cancer rates over the next 20-30 years, and many more "defects' appearing in births (in the short term). And the longer the radiation leak continues in Japan, the more people will be affected.

4. Europeans were warned no MILK or leafy greens...
Please take a look at these highlights from a warning issued by CIIRAD, a French research body on radioactivity.

Seriously. I'm still astounded. Everyone needs to see this:

"The risks associated with iodine-131 contamination in Europe are no longer “negligible,” according to CRIIRAD, a French research body on radioactivity. The NGO is advising pregnant women and infants against “risky behaviour,” such as consuming fresh milk or vegetables with large leaves."

Then.........a few paragraphs later in the same article...

"Data for the west coast of the United States, which received the Fukushima radioactive fallout 6-10 days before France, reveals that levels of radioactive iodine-131 concentration are 8-10 times higher there, the institute says."

CIIRAD issued their warning almost a month ago. Can you imagine how bad things are now--as the radiation has continued
leaking and accumulating in EVERYTHING.

Bottom line--the Europeans got a warning, we GOT nothing. Our media reports more on cranes falling on people than they do on
Fukushima. And, according to the CIIRAD warnings--THE RADIOACTIVE IODINE-131 LEVELS IN THE UNITED STATES ARE 8-10 TIMES
HIGHER THAN IN EUROPE.

I get so angry when I post this stuff...but people need to see it.
