Pepper Trump with Policy Questions
Today, Donald Trump tried to claim that it was actually the media that forced him to talk about the birther issue and not other issues like China and debt. I suggest, to the media, that in response to Trump's comments the media should pepper Trump with policy questions. If he continues to try to talk about issues like President Obama's birth certificate and his college education they should just ignore his comments and continue to ask policy questions. This is how I think the next press conference should go:

Reporter: Mr. Trump can to explain in more detail your plan(s) to deal with China and its currency?

Trump: Before I talk about other policy issues I think we should deal with President Obama's birth certificate or his education.

Reporter: Mr. Trump can you explain your views on eminent domain?

Trump: While the word on the street is that President Obama was as bad student. I think he should release his records.

Reporter: Mr. Trump you have said that you think foreign countries should pay the United States for the privilege of having American bases in their country. What about countries like Japan which have stated that they do not want American bases in their country?

Trump: I still have doubts about President Obama's birth origins.

Reporter: Mr. Trump it has been reported that you borrowed $2 billion to finance your Casino operation. Later, your casino operation sought bankruptcy protection. Considering that fact do you think you have the qualifications to deal with America's debt issues?

I highly doubt any of Donald Trumps future press conferences will go like that. I think the media will continue to be foolish enough to play along with Trumps foolish game. However, that is exactly how Trumps future press conference, at least on the part of the reporters, should go and how his previous interviews and press conferences should have gone.
