This has been the number one story all day on all the network news and cable news shows. It's been commented on all the late night entertainment shows like Letterman, Leno, Conan, etc. In fact Letterman had a top 10 devoted to it tonight.

I know that Lawrence O'Donnell criticized NBC Entertainment on his show tonight - but he also made the birther issue the main topic of his hour show.

I know that there is terrible weather in the Southeast - killer tornado's - yet none of the shows I watched today even reported on them. Nothing was said on O'Donnell's show or Rachel's show about them. O'Donnell even had to cut off Barney Frank from commenting on Bernake's presser today.

MSM is entertainment and no longer news. I'm really saddened by the state of journalism in this country. This lack thereof is contributing to the demise of this country.
