OK. As of today, I feel like we are REALLY on the cusp of........something big... |
|
I get the feeling that the whole future of this country is on the bubble.
This birther thingy really IS an illustration of how fucking wide the gulf between reality and fantasy is in this country.
We have a chance to come to our senses, or stay in the circus and let the clowns continue to run the meme.

11. I have no doubt of that. |
|
I've been thinking how futile it has been for Obama to try to reduce the political animosity in America. For three decades I've watched belligerent Republicans stoke the flames of hatred while Democrats, to a fault, tried to promote civility.
The afterbirthers will not change their game. They don't want answers, they want questions. And the overall political climate will always be toxic because Republicans have a deliberate intention that this climate will persist.

5. I agree, I'm very concerned. And when you look out across the landscape we |
|
have politicians running around that are ignorant and absolute fools, and then the Trump.

4. It is. We have a fair number of people in this country losing a |
|
grip on reality. I don't really ever recall so many people running around spouting such nonsense and delusional thinking.

On the other hand I'm proud of our President, I am thrilled he punked them and look forward to more of same.

17. The Ayn Rand movie and the birther issue. Somehow they seem to |
|
be linked. Two crazy nonissues getting a lot of news coverage they don't deserve.
