CENTRAL PLANNING: Who does it worse, commies or IMF? |
|
I'm no fan of Soviet-style central planning, but if it was such a bad idea, why do we let bankers do it for the whole world, using loans to dictate how much countries can spend on education, health care, etc. and what kind of trade policies they have?
Has the central planning of world bankers led to a more stable, secure world where everyone has enough to eat, can see a doctor when they need to, get as much education as their brain can absorb, and then get a job that will support their family?
If the commies failed at this, it was largely through incompetence. If the bankers fail, it's because they measure ''success'' based on the welfare of the very, very few.

3. The IMF are @#$%&! Experts at Central Planning. |
|
The IMF deliberately undermine and sabotage countries with their loans that they deliberately structure to be too expensive for the 3rd world nation to ever pay off. They coerce nations to initially take out loans that they often don't even need. Or, if a nation does need a loan, they make them take out a loan larger than they need. They also wrap their loans in mercenary conditions and requirements.
This makes those loans economically unjustified and unsupportable. They are issued solely to force those nations to have to sell off their assets at rock-bottom prices to predatory international corporations just to be able to make their loan payments.
The nations spend so much of their resources just trying to pay off the loans, that nothing is left to try to advance the quality and infrastructure of their nation. Yet, according to the IMF, the whole point of the loans was supposed to be to allow the nation to do exactly that. But the truth is that this is a lie told to sell the loans so that the IMF can impoverish nations and force them into permanent debt, so that they must do whatever the IMF demands in order to be able to meet their loan payments.
Because of this deliberate worldwide fraud, committed to destroy 3rd world nations while enriching the corporations of the 1st world, the IMF is definitely the EXPERT at Central Planning.
You could only consider them failures at central planning if you actually believed their marketing and think that they are really out there trying to help the 3rd work.

I was accused of wearing the tin-foil hat earlier today after voicing the same opinion.
However, I did also implicate the World Bank into the scheme. Maybe I went too far.

Why do we let bankers do it? Such an odd question. Because "we" have little direct say in so much of national, let alone global, life? Because the history, complexity, and momentum of the last few thousand years is sort of difficult to break free from? Because the normal people that make up "we" are busy doing their own jobs, and trying to provide for their own families, so that these giant global questions are left up to the experts in the field whose job it has become to do these sorts of things?

10. The reason the powers that be let the IMF do it is because |
|
unlike the communist Central Planning, which in theory benefits the masses, the IMFs central planning benefits the Oligarchs, and that is really all the powers that be care about.
