3. What if his daughters are being bullied because of the treatment of Bradley Manning?

6. Who would be doing the bullying? Seriously.
I doubt they even know that Bradley Manning exists. I doubt most kids that age know he exists. In fact, I'll bet a large majority of the US adult population could not tell you who Bradley Manning is. I'd bet a pretty large sum on that last one. DU is not representative of a very large segment of the population, I'm sorry to say.

5. That seems very unlikely. Especially at the school they attend.
Due to their situation, Obama's daughters are pretty sheltered. I don't believe they even see a lot of television.

While I have no doubt that they've heard about the whole birth certificate nonsense, they're smart enough to shrug it off. Mom and Dad seem to have a good, close relationship with them and that counters most everything.

I can't imagine that there's any bullying at all going on.

15. Maybe it's not verbal or physical bullying
But even kids can sense when they're ostracized. I highly doubt that they were unaffected by all this.

20. And I doubt they're very affected at all by this.
As for their school, I'd assume that being the kids of the President is not a drawback at that school.

I also suspect that you have no idea of what you are talking about with this issue.

7. here's the thing i don't get about this whole thing.
and i understand there are people who don't actually think about what they are saying. And maybe I am overthinking this and am wrong. Doesn't questioning the legitimacy of obama's birth certificate basically delegitimize EVERYONE"S birth certificate? I mean, can anyone 'prove' their birth certificate is real? The only thing we have with regards to these documents is people's belief that we can trust that a piece of paper with certain marks on it is a legitimate document that can be accepted as proof of something. To try to say that one person's document even though it has all these markers is not trustworthy is to say that any document is untrustworthy.

9. Of course it does for people of intelligence and who cna question.
But as much as I hate to say this, this is really and "us" (as in, adults of reasonable intelligence) and "them" (as in, dolts with an agenda) situation.

16. ejpoeta, you're being logical and rational
Racists are not logical and rational

One of the problems logical and rational people have is we try to answer these creatures instead of telling them that the ball is in their court. The burden is on them to prove, not the rest of us to disprove. "I heard" or "people say" isn't good enough.

12. my thoughts all along
this must surely be about DIGNITY and not dignifying this shit with a response. His daughters must have felt wounded (I know I would have) for his dad, and he felt wounded for having put them in that position. it's a family affair and none of MY business, let alone these fucking birfers.

what a bunch of fucking pigs these fucking pigs fucking are.

19. I don't think that would happen
considering the school they attend. Almost half are minority, so I don't think they'd stand out. And I think they'd be too into recess and gossipy girl stuff that have nothing to do with politics.

He released the LFBC because it was politically necessary and good strategy. No need to invent further nonsense.
