I was furious yesterday, after several days of growing angrier and angrier about this nonsense, and I couldn't exactly figure out why or what it was I was so angry about. I was screaming at the tv the other day, something I never do - ordinarily I just switch channels if something starts to irritate me.

Mr. Thurston explained it so calmly and beautifully in his video - this nonsense demeans the office of the President of the United States, and thereby, demeans all of us.

Many who've lived lives of some level of privilege tell people who are claiming "racism" to oh, get off it, of course it's not about racism, we're long past that, almost nobody's a racist any more. And yet, those who claim that haven't lived the life Baratunde Thurson describes, or anything like it, and in truth, just really don't know.

The video both tears at my heart and opens it, along with opening my eyes and my comprehension. Thanks for posting it.
