Andrea Mitchell called it like it is -- racism.
She said "no White President would ever have been put through this" Gotta give her props -- lots of commentators won't even whisper the word.

3. She'd better be nice to Obama
He's probably the only reason her husband isn't sitting his bony ass in jail for his part in causing the current recession.

Whatever reason, I was happy to hear what she said.

5. The M$M needs to start telling the truth
they let GW Bush* get away with questions of his Air National Guard service unanswered while the birthers got to run rampant for years. Expose the racists for what they are. :grr:

6. I may be wrong, but I think her first husband was
African American. I think someone wrote about it here on DU when talking about her early years in PA.

7. I read that here as well.
To the OP: When she said it, I was happy to hear it. Andrea isn't one of my favorites, but I appreciate that she called it what it is.

10. I hadn't heard that so I went looking:
http://www.broadstreetreview.com/index.php/main/article/Andrea_Mitchell_John_McIntyre_Capital_C_Culture/

Seems he was and seems she adored him. :) The comments say "...he was in a wheelchair by then..." so maybe he died? Makes me want to read her book!

12. In the words of MLK:
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
