Obama hosts prominent Hispanics to talk immigration
A host of prominent Hispanics, from Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria to Southern California radio host Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo, will meet with President Obama this afternoon to talk immigration.

According to the White House, the group will discuss "how we can work together to foster a constructive national conversation on this important issue."

Last week, Obama gathered top administration officials, politicians, religious and business leaders to discuss immgration. Today's group, meeting with Obama and senior White House aides Valerie Jarrett and David Plouffe, includes:

* Ugly Betty star America Ferrera
* Musician and producer Emilio Estefan
* Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart
* Actress Rosario Dawson
* Journalist Barbara Bermudo
* Univision host Don Francisco

Legislation on immigration, one of the most controversial issues before Congress, is not likely to go anywhere before the 2012 elections.
