An idea: If they now say that Obama is not qualified because his father was Kenyan ... |
|
they are probably saying this because they want it to be true - but they have really complicated things for themselves.
It's a matter of geography. And it's a matter of numbers to justify getting into the White House - one citizen parent or two citizen parents or neither.
Are they objecting to his father being born in Kenya and that he was only here on a visa and had not gone through the naturalization process?
(I haven't been following this birther cry carefully because it seemed to bizarre and I didn't want to waste my time so correct me if I’m wrong – my idea below might not have been worth the trouble if I’m not understanding what birthers are now asking for).
This is my idea - we should ask them to tell us what they believe or know in a more organized way instead of them wandering all over the place and us not understanding what they are demanding. Do you think the following would work? Picture this in a simple row and column fill-in the box format.
Title: Who Is Or Is Not Qualified To Become President Of The United States?
Enter Y or N or DK, WO, or DC as follows:
Y - Yes and I know that is what the law states
N - No because I know that the law doesn't allow it.
DK - Don't know if it is presently legal
WO - Without an opinion
DC - Don't care because it doesn't apply to Obama.
VERTICAL HEADINGS FOR Geographical Birthplace or Naturalization Place:
(Reading down the left hand side of the grid):
There are 8 Rows:
1a. Born in any of the 50 states:
1b. Naturalized in any of the 50 states:
2a. Born in a U.S. Territory or Possession or an occupied/leased partition (Panama Canal during the former lease period):
2b. Naturalized in a U.S. Territory or Possession or an occupied /leased partition (Panama Canal during the former lease period):
3a. Born on military duty OUTSIDE the U.S. (i.e., outside the 50 States, Territories or Possessions):
3b. Naturalized on military duty OUTSIDE the U.S. (i.e., 50 States, Terr or Poss.):
4a. Born on the property of a U.S. Embassy or Consulate:
4b. Naturalized on the property of a U.S. Embassy or Consulate:
PARENTAGE: - Horizontal - There are 3 columns reading across the grid:
1: One parent is a citizen
2: Both parents are citizens
3: Neither parents are citizens
Notes:
:o) If some of the birthers can't figure it out, they could have group sessions, or get a lawyer friend to help them out - perhaps Donald T could help out. :o)
:o) This leaves out scenarios where a parent has died and the birthplace is not known - or in the event of in vitro pregnancy, foster parents, etc. etc. etc. But that's OK for now.) :o)
:o) If they still insist, they should try to help out by telling us how many children are automatically ineligible to become President. The people have a right to know. :o)

2. I think they should focus on Hawaii's being an inelligible state. |
|
After all, it has all those nonwhite people there, and it's thousands of miles away. And besides, it caused the U.S. to enter the Second World War. And worst of all, it has consistently voted Democratic. I mean, what more evidence does it take to show that it's just not Murican?

4. Anytime we give them any attention at all, they win by wasting our time and energy. |
|
Obama has ignored them until they made fools of themselves. We should take his lead.

5. Not pinning them down means we give in. Think of it as helping them to think logically. |

that they can drop this lie - they would have to conduct a little research like the rest of us.
They need help thinking straight.
