oh this is good...Ex-Trump Employee Says On-The-Job Harassment Was Constant

The contemptible Donald Trump has in recent years enjoyed popular success through telling people “You’re fired!” on television.

Those situations may have had their TV-land veracity but do not portray what real-life victims of Donald Trump’s incessant on-the-job harassment have had to suffer. At that, we should not brush under the carpet, as though it were of no consequence, the fact that many Jewish groups and individuals think that with his television shows, Trump empowered anti-Semites whenever doing so appeared advantageous to his television ratings.

Baritone Julian Long, a gay man, worked during his student days in Trumpets Restaurant, interior-designed by Trump’s then wife Ivana Trump. Julian reports that Donald Trump as a fixture of the restaurant subjected female employees to frequent sexual harassment, forcing them to endure the lewd and lascivious remarks he made to them. Trump, furthermore, often harassed, demeaned and humiliated his gay employees by referring to them collectively as “the faggots.” Donald Trump, in other words, abused his position of power as an employer to degrade his employees, bullying them on the basis of their gender and/or sexual orientation.

30. I've never got why he's hailed as some kind of business guru
He inherited most of his wealth, and has several failed businesses behind him, including a casino. Yes, you read that right, he lost money as a casino owner.

34. I heard he filed bankruptcy on the
casino because it gave him some type of 'tax' advantage. I say put him where Leona, 'Queen of Mean,' had to go.

He's even more despicable than she.

The fact that he has a TV show really says something about how far our nation has fallen into the depths of a slimy ooze of 'culture.'

12. I know one individual that knows Trump directly...
and in a conversation a few month's back, (before all of this hoopla), Trump came up.

Even his family can't stand him, he's fleeced them out of tens of millions; he is a know-nothing blowhard and is considered to be an idiot in the business world. At one time, it was the inside "thing", to do exact opposite of what Trump did and one could turn a profit, but if you listened to Trump, you'd be in the toilet by Noon.

Anyone harassed on the job should file a suit, whether it's Trump, or anyone else...employers should never abuse their employees.

24. Trump has stiffed architects and contractors
There is a stereotype of family-built companies:

The first generation builds it, the second generation screws up the business, then the third generation screws the world.

8. I asked my younger son one time if he would like me to get him an
application to work at Mar-a-Lago during season as a bartender. His response included a wish to have bamboo poked in his eye or under his fingernails before that ever happened. I asked why? He is a friend of my boss at the time and I had at least an "in." Restaurant people have their own "communication tree" for want of a better description, and to work for Trump is the bottom of the barrel. I didn't press it but thought it was interesting. Much of his staff during season are foreigners and then return home after season is over.

40. When the time is right and if needed Rove will spill the beans.
IMHO, the republicans' overlords arent interested in wasting a good candidate (good in their warped minds) on a race with Pres Obama. They will encourage the whack-a-doodles to fight it out as a distraction to the damage being done by the Republican controlled Congress. This doesnt mean that the corporations arent going to be flexing their CU muscles tuning up for 2016 when the overlords will bring out Jeb Bush, the savior of the dysfunctional Republican Party.

11. I met him when Trump Towers was almost completed
I was a secretary working in the area and standing around there watching the hoopla. He came up to me and asked if I wanted to take a tour of "his" place. Hmm. What the hell? I went. He showed me around the building and the "penthouse suite", bragging all the time and making passes. I ignored it. Having worked for one of the top corporate offices in Manhattan and seen their executive suite on the 45th floor with ming vases, oriental rugs, crystal channelers, etc.,and even flown on their corporate jet, it didn't impresses me very much as a native Manhattanite. He struck me as a conceited, braggart, womanizer. I told him that I had to get back to work, and thank you, very much, and left as fast as I could.

This was my experience of meeting The Donald.

14. I'm going to say something good about The Donald.
Unless they have me completely fooled, I do think his kids (all of them) are really good people. I doubt that The Donald had a whole lot to do with this and their mothers should probably get full credit for how they turned out. When I watch them together I do wonder how they could really respect the piece of shit that is their father. He seems to be the exact opposite of what they are, which is respectful, calm, reserved and compassionate. I know they didn't learn any of those things from him.

23. I agree. Unfortunately, there are many examples of men who behave well
toward their children (and I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt here) but behave badly toward others.

And, it's a little different point, but how many of us here at DU have conservative parents whom we love, even though we detest their views on some topics?

Not at all an economic progressive, and has gone on CNBC and Faux to air her views on Obama (specifically stating she's "Frightened for the future") and the same old "git th' gubmint off bizness's BACKS" crap.

He's a twinkle out of dad's ass... His daughters on the other hand seem bright and normal...

"...a recent Thursday, just before 8 a.m., the younger Trump entered his father's spacious office down the hall.

"How's my boy doing on the Phoenix project?" he asked in that familiar voice that has become widely known through The Apprentice show on television.

"If he's not doing a good job, I'll fire him," he joked."

ha ha..

22. Several years back, on another board I frequented, one of the
very well-respected members of that board mentioned his dealings with Trump, as he was involved in the construction business himself. Anyway, apparently Trump had an absolute hair-trigger temper, and would blow up violently if someone had a disagreement with whatever he happened to express. This guy mentioned that Trump actually threw a book or some other potentially dangerous object at someone he was mad at!

Like I said, this was probably a good 10 years back, but I can still recall his post even today.

27. Whatever you do, don't pay attention to the candidate that will be nominated. Still too early
to go after the real threats to victory in 2012, right?

Will anyone remember Trump when the real campaign starts?

Is all this improbable candidate stalking a ruse? a distraction?

Place foils in front of the likely nominee as long as possible .....

None of this surprises me at all and I find it delightful that all his attention-mongering has brought out all the worse stories about the man.

I've noticed that whenever his wife appears with him, she looks like being next to him is a very painful experience. Can you imagine living with him?
