To the people who have Republican Reps |
|
in the House now since the last election, and who voted for them, and who are now mad at them and expressing it at town halls:
WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU THINK THEY WERE GOING TO DO? THEY'RE REPUBLICANS.

I am astonded how he wins reelection after doing nothing as Ethics Chairman during K street and the hooker lists and Tom Delay's tricks...Not one ethics investigation under his chairmanship.

2. Maybe they thought that... |

Edited on Thu Apr-28-11 07:37 PM by Proud Liberal Dem
maybe, this time, the Republicans might actually do the right thing and serve the public????!!!
If I were to be serious for a moment, I would also probably say that they were probably pretty jimmy-jammed up on Fox Tea Party-inspired Obama hate and fear of "Obamacare" and its fearsome "death panels". I think that some (perhaps a lot) of them were registering a protest vote against Obama.

7. They got sucked in by bait and switch. |
|
Republicans campaigned on job creation. People that got sucked in by that argument now regret their votes, but must wait until 2012 to correct their mistake.

9. Didn't say that you did. |
|
Nor did I say that you went to a town hall and berated him. See how that works?
Condolences on your representation, by the way. We haven't had a Democrat since the '70s. :hi:

10. Does this include Dems who stayed home in order to show the party something? |
|
Not that anyone would actually do such a thing, of course.
