How many thousands of Britain's desperately poor would have benefited from the money spent on the wedding and on the Royals in general.
Meh, meh, and meh.

Go tell the Republicans everything isn't about money. See what reaction you get.

10. Here's how the fuck the "royal" wedding (which you for some inane reason capitalize) |
|
Has to do with Republicans.
Republicans control the media in this country. They're feeding you he "royal" wedding as the latest cover for all the news they should be reporting but aren't because they're covering the bullshit "royal" wedding.
Republicans are consolidating wealth among the top few percent while attacking the middle class and utterly destroying the poor yet people here are saying stupid shit like "money isn't everything". Go tell that to one of your Republican friends. See what reaction you get.
Nothing occurs in a vacuum. It's all connected.

Where have you been the past 10 years while American Idol and the likes of Survivor and Jersey Shore have been blinding this country? One wedding does not a catastrophe make...may I suggest you just relax and enjoy the happiness of the moment or if not leave those of us that do alone?????

20. I don't watch any of the shows you seem to be so well versed on |
|
And I don't watch bullshit "royal" weddings or enjoy the "happiness of the moment" when in reality this is just a load of "royal" bullshit designed to fill the empty days of people with empty heads like those that watch the shows you mentioned.
BTW, if you want to be left alone to enjoy your "royal" wedding may I suggest you turn off your computer and go sit in front of your TV and watch your "royal" wedding. You can stay right there until American Idol and the likes of Survivor and Jersey Shore come on and increase your joy exponentially.

6. What percentage of England's economy is tourism? |
|
Folks go to Orlando to see a guy in a mouse suit who pretends to run a Magic Kingdom.
That's what the royal whoopdedoo stuff in England does.

It would be wrong of me to criticise them or someone like Trump who got lucky and was born into wealth. If i were born wealthy i'd find it hard to let go of. I have been on welfare for years and yes, i'm not deserving of it but if it were taken away from me i would accept it as long as they respected that i then be left alone.
I don't like what Trump says but then again i've said stuff in the past that would be called racist. Sometimes i let it go and other times i'm a hypocrite.

the royals are fabulously wealthy in their own right, and they spent their own money on the wedding, and they can spend their own money any way they damn well please. Such is the privilege of wealth. I think the British tax base only paid for security, which is sort of justifiable as any state occasion of this size does present risk to the public.
That said, the question of HOW the royals became fabulously wealthy in their own right is a different question altogether, and one that certainly goes to the core of you complaint. I agree with you. The money could have been spent more justly, but it was not. Such are the choices we make. Jesus is reported to have said that we must give ALL of our possessions in order to gain access into heaven, and I don't know anybody that does this, except perhaps my uncle, who is a Jesuit priest and lives a life of the most christian parsimony I've ever seen.

22. Well, I believe if the Brits had put all of that money in a fund. If the lovely couple |
|
had made known their desires to start a foundation to help poor Brits with the twenty million pounds, or whatever, if they had had a very, very, very, simple ceremony and been in very close proximity to the people, etc. I believe the coming kingship would have been a very special one. Unprecedented. Great example to "royalty" of all types. The old "noblesse oblige" sort of thing you know? What what?
