8. Don't need that stuff any more. I have a wonderful wife.
Back in the day, though, those little cute cars did the trick, and attracted women who were less concerned with material stuff than other things.

14. That's true. Cars have significance in people's lives.
I actually cataloged all the cars from my life and built a web page on my site that tells a brief story of each one: http://www.osomin.com/mycars.htm

There are other web pages like that scattered around the web, but I don't know of a catalog for them.

6. I used to have this 1964 Hillman Super Minx, too.
For some reason, I had a fetish for small, oddball British cars for a few years.

Had a bugeye Sprite, too.

10. I really wanted a Bugeye
but opted for the TR4 glad I did because I'm short and a little easier to drive.

11. That's the car I really wish I still had. More fun than
useful, but fun is good. No way I could afford one now, though. I gave $200 for that one in the late 60s, if you can believe it.

9. 1964 Triumph TR4
The Triumph TR4 was a sports car built in the United Kingdom by the Standard Triumph Motor Company and introduced in 1961. Code named "Zest" during development, the car was based on the chassis and drivetrain of the previous TR sports cars, but with a modern Michelotti styled body. 40,253 cars were built during production years. The TR4 proved very successful and continued the rugged, "hairy-chested" image that the previous TRs had enjoyed.
