Just heard it on NASA TV. Some heater system has malfunctioned.

1. Sucks if you're a Central Florida tourist. The astronauts probably are okay with it.
I grew up in Cocoa Beach. Watching a launch just meant walking down to the beach...if it didn't go, you walked back. But a lot of people planned vacations around this. And a shuttle launch truly is one of the most breath-taking things you could ever witness. But scrubs are part of the deal. They happen all the time, because of weather, problems with the rocket, whatever. Now they have to deal with orbit issues...they can't just launch anytime they want. It has to be at the optimum time for the vehicle to reach it's intended orbit/destination. The tourists that banked it all on hoping the shuttle would launch might be screwed. :(

2. Hope it isn't too much of an inconvenience for Rep. Giffords.
I don't know what kind of mobility problems she has since an idiot shot her for no reason. I suppose she has 1st class accomodations, though.

4. She shouldn't have too much to worry about.

Sen Bill Nelson, D-Fla is a former Astronaut. If no one else takes care of her needs I'm sure he would.

3. That's okay. Apparently we're not supposed to watch frivolous stuff
anymore anyway. :hi:

6. I think the crew wanted to watch the wedding, so they didn't show.
Was doctor Phil and Jerry Springer covering the wedding?

5. How did the shuttle get so dirty?
I didn't think Florida had nothing but sand, water and Yankees.
