Gabby Gifford's Dedication to her then Astronaut Boyfriend
Back in 2005, Congreswoman Gabby Giffords chose U2's "Beautiful Day" to wake up her then-boyfriend on his very first trip into space.

Today he again reaches up to touch the face of God, while his wife, still recovering from an assassin's bullet, watches.

As the shuttle reaches orbit, today, please kick and recommend this thread, in dedication to both Gabby and her husband, both American heroes.

It IS, indeed, a beautiful day!!!
