Let William have his wedding day. He lost his mom.
I remember the outpouring of grief when Diana died. I remember the coffin being pelted with bouquet after bouquet as it proceeded to burial. I never saw anything like it.

This is how they do it. Respect that and let him have his day. Remember, he's a prisoner.

to be the same. From what I understand he takes her legacy very seriously and carries on her work.

Additionally Kate Middleton is a "commoner" with a good head on her shoulders and as far as I can tell has very good values.

3. Couldn't agree more. They're a very fine couple and Lady Di
would be so proud.

5. No shit...
No doubt there have been many moments over the years when his heart grieved for his loss, that she couldn't be there to share in his accomplishments.

Now, on a day that should be joyous for him, there's probably still an ache that nags at him. How much would his mom have loved his new bride...how proud she would have been...

But people want to shit on this day when so many people around the world act as substitutes for the mom who won't be there.

Millions of his countrymen and women share in his joy... I think they're the only ones who should have the right to dump on their own royalty if they want.

Who the hell are we Americans to do that? Why can't we just let them alone to enjoy their day without shitting on it?

sigh...

6. A friend of mine met his mother while doing charity work.
She said that Diana was an amazing woman when it came to relating to other people, and to doing charity work. I see some of her in her son. I just hope they don't do to his new wife what they did to his mother. They seem like a decent enough couple. I don't understand all the hoopla about it, but I agree, let him have his day. I just wish our media wouldn't make such a big deal of it.

9. I would not want to be Catherine or William.

They are a couple who have all they ever want except privacy and the ability to live a normal life. I wouldn't want to trade privacy and a 'normal' life for all their the material riches they have. I hope they both are able to live some semblance of an ordinary life like Diana wanted for her children.
