3. This is just another sobering reminder that we are all one family.
And when one hurts, we all hurt.

God bless those people and their loved ones. I hope they all find peace.

4. More than 100 Bama dining employees missing
Aramark has gotten in trouble in the past for employing a lot of illegal immigrants; I wonder how many employees don't have many ties there and don't have anybody (except Aramark) there to look for them.

6. Prayers to the families
I have little doubt that all of those persons are now deceased.

This is really sad and there is a lot of damage and destruction that we dont even know about yet - the toll, in lives and physical damage, will get worse as more is known.

7. While I was reading the site, there are some positive stories about people being found alive and
well, but all those missing people, it really doesn't look good sadly.

8. This will be the largest loss of life in the U.S since Katrina
I hope that they continue to find survivors.

9. I finally heard from my friend today. They came through the storm ok.
I have been trying to call her since that night. She says that cell coverage is pretty shaky and the lines/circuits are swamped with people trying to call each other. As happy as I was to hear they are all ok, she had some information that was not so happy. She says the morgues are full up and the death toll is being under reported. Until they get an ID on the bodies they are not officially reporting them as dead.

What you have to remember, is that it is not just parts of Tuscaloosa that got hit. Entire towns are gone. There may not be anyone left to ID some of those bodies...

14. This is unbelievable. I have never heard of so many missing
after a tornado - as someone else posted, this is reminiscent of Katrina. Shockingly devastating... I am so glad you have found your friend.

12. I read in the comments about a couple of them being found. Tiny sprinkles of hope are good.
