This past week or so, most of the storms that have ravaged the south and east formed right on top of me here in north Texas. Today, it is setting up again. A big cold front converging with a dry line right on top of me again! It is going to trigger some huge storms again, with lots of wind, rain, and hail.
My problem is drought. It has been so dry here that fires are the big concern. Any lightening can trigger fires. All these storms have formed here, but left little, if any, rain behind.
Of course, my problems are miniscule compared to the poor folks in MIssissippi and Alabama. I pray they are spared any more destruction and that these storms do not reach them while they are trying to clean up and piece their lives back together.
The good news for us.......80% chance of rain tomorrow! The bad news......they will be heading off to the east where folks have been unindated with floodwaters.
Mother Nature giveth and she taketh away. But she sure is acting like a bitch lately!

1. No, YOU'RE the one who's "unindated" with rain. |

Everyone else is getting slammed.
Hope you get some soon. But not too much.

K&R from West/Central Arkansas. We got rain and high winds, but the tornadoes didn't form until the storms moved east of us. The razorback ridges of the Ouachita Mountains are not conducive to tornadoes, but occasionally one does track up a valley.
We watch closely on Accuweather Radar.
Hope you get the rain you need. Really freaky weather here this Spring.
